Despite the opponent and the late effort to score 100 points, The City was impressive in their 108-66 torching of Cimers.
It was the second game versus Cimers where they had a chance to score 100 points. In their previous matchup, they scored 9 points in the final minute and a half to get close to 100 points, falling short by 4.
This game, The City had 90 points with 6 minutes left before going on a three minute scoreless streak.
After some back-and-forth, The City was close and with an offensive rebound in the hands of G. Wilcox, he made sure they would score 100 points, which has never been done before by The City or any league they’ve ever played in.
Wilcox’s near triple double of 8 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists was just one impressive performance by The City. His 19 point efficiency was just one of six efficiency scores in double digits. With all City players scoring double digits in efficiency, also a first, they contributed to a record 146 team efficiency score.
M. Vega had a 25 eff score with 22 points and 3 steals. S. Cassman scored a 21 eff score with 8 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks. C. Mehl scored a 20 eff score with 18 points and 7 rebounds. C. Graham rounded out the impressive game with a 18 eff score with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists.
